Recent cybersecurity research has shown a spike in incidents targeting hotels and resorts. Happy travels! According to Nicholas Percoco, a cybersecurity researcher for the security firm Trustwave, “The hospitality industry was the flavor of the year for cybercrime.” In 38% of the security breach investigations Trustwave performed last year, hotels and resorts were the victims.
